Another inhabited area, this one sheltering an unusual number of basilisks. It can be either quite easy or rather hard to travel through it, depending on the strategy you use. If you are wise, you'll have the following items before venturing in the area: Potions of Mirrored Eyes, Protection from Petrification spells, Protection from Petrification scrolls and Stone to Flesh scrolls. Since basilisks' gaze can turn your party members to stone, it is imperative that you use one or more of these items. Also note that if your PC is turned to stone, it is considered as equal to death and you have to reload the game. NOTE: this area was designed for a medium-high level party. Be careful with basilisks, they are dangerous! If you don't feel up to the challenge, avoid the area.
