- All Past Banners in Genshin Impact
Every few weeks, Genshin Impact has a new set of banners available, offering players the chance to pull new characters they don't already have, level up ones they do, or add brand new faces to their team that have just been introduced. The banner system works the same as many gacha games, requiring wishes, known as Intertwined Fates (on the event banners) and Acquaint Fates (on the Standard Banner), to pull for characters and weapons. The wish mechanic is central to the game, and which banners are currently active will influence the game for that period of time.
This guide will showcase the current Genshin Impact banners, including all of our guides to the current characters. Additionally, we'll offer a preview of upcoming Genshin Impact banners. Following that, you'll find all of our guides for the Standard Banner's characters and a list of all past banners that have been featured over the years.
Dates: February 20 to March 12
The Genshin Impact event banners that are currently available are the following:

The current event banners feature no new characters. Instead, Xiao (Anemo polearm) and Yae Miko (Electro catalyst) will see reruns. Alongside them are Yaoyao (Dendro polearm), Ningguang (Geo catalyst), and Xinyan (Pyro claymore).

Here, you can find guides to the current event five-stars, including all of their ascension materials, recommended builds and weapons, ideas for the best units to pair them with on a team, a guide to their constellations, and common mistakes people make when playing as them.

Upcoming Genshin Impact Banners and Chronicled Wish - a New Wishing System!

Genshin Impact has revealed Version 4.5's five-star characters, and have also announced the debut of an entirely brand-new wishing system called Chronicled Wish! Similar to the Weapon Banner's "Epitomized Path," players can chart a course for a specific five-star character or weapon out of a particular pool of each. Interestingly, players need one Fate Point to earn their chosen character or weapon, rather than two Fate Points like on the Weapon Banner. In this Banner system, it's called "Chronicled Path." Three-, four-, and five-star items are all obtainable from this system.
Here's how it works: if players choose a five-star character from the pool (we'll use Diluc as an example), and lose the 50:50, they'll instead receive another character from the pool, for example, Eula, and they'll gain one Fate Point. Then, on the next 5-star they pull, they'll receive the character they charted course for, in this case, Diluc. The same goes for weapons. It's important to note that players can only receive items from the same category that they chose upon losing the 50:50 (characters or weapons). That means, if a character is chosen, players who lose the 50:50 will receive another character, whereas if a weapon is chosen, they will receive another weapon upon losing the 50:50. A weapon cannot be obtained if a character is chosen, and vice-versa.

Here's how the Chronicled Wish works!
Similar to the regular Character Event Wishes, hard pity is reached at 90 pulls, and a four-star character or weapon is guaranteed every ten pulls. This new Banner also uses Intertwined Fates (the same as limited Event Wishes). The characters and weapons available on the Chronicled Wish will rotate, with the available characters being those who have run in Event Wishes at least three times and who have not run recently. Additionally, these characters can appear on Chronicled Wishes again in the future, so don't worry if you miss them on a particular Chronicled Wish rotation. From the phrasing, it seems like Chronicled Wishes will not be available with every patch, instead only running sometimes as an event.
Important: Pity Count will carry over between Chronicled Wish rotations, but accumulated Fate Points will not.
As for the five-star characters on regular old Event Wishes, here's who we're looking at for Version 4.5. Chiori, a new Geo sword character, will debut, with Itto (Geo claymore) seeing a rerun alongside her. Then, in Phase II, Neuvillette (Hydro catalyst) and Kazuha (Anemo sword) will both have reruns. The four-stars are not yet announced.
For the Chronicled Wish, the first characters up for grabs are Eula (Cryo claymore), Mona (Hydro catalyst), Albedo (Geo sword), Klee (Pyro catalyst), Diluc (Pyro claymore), and Jean (Anemo sword). The weapons are Beacon of the Reed Sea (claymore), Song of Broken Pines (claymore), Wolf's Gravestone (claymore), Skyward Pride (claymore), Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds (catalyst), Skyward Atlas (catalyst), Skyward Blade (sword), Aquila Favonia (sword), Skyward Spine (polearm), Hunter's Path (bow), and Skyward Harp (bow).

The Standard Banner is home to a few five-stars that can always be obtained, either through this permanently-available banner or from event banners. The five-stars that are permanently available are Jean (Anemo sword), Diluc (Pyro claymore), Mona (Hydro catalyst), Qiqi (Cryo sword), Keqing (Electro sword), Dehya (Pyro claymore), and Tighnari (Dendro bow).

All Past Banners in Genshin Impact
The past banners that have run in Genshin Impact are listed here. For the first couple of years, only one event banner would be featured at a time. Starting in Version 2.3, the game will (typically) feature two event banners simultaneously. The two-banner system will feature two different five-star characters, but they will share four-star rate-up characters.
This list will also outline which characters are new on each banner, how many times a five-star has been rerun, and which four-stars were featured.
Reminder: We have guides for every character in the game. Click here to go to our character guide directory.
