Honda Shadow spirit 750 I think is a very good bike for smaller people, other than that its a very nice looking bike with lots of power, the only thing in the Honda is the "lunch box" they call the tail light, get rid of that and your good to go.

My wife and I like to ride, but we slightly exceed the weight cap., can this damage the bike, or is it just a handling issue?

My first road bike. Blue W/silver flames . Get the most compliments from Harley riders. Have to tell people its a Honda ,they think i'ts a Hog. Added straight pipes and jet kit thru Honda dealer. Runs fine
